The low consumption of these heaters lies in the innovative technology used in the development process. The optimum combination of all its components makes possible to use the minimum power to reach quickly the desired temperature.
We can describe the operation process of these heaters with the following example. In a room without previous heating and standard conditions of isolation, the room will reach the desired temperature in two hours time (i.e. 20 C). Once reached this temperature, for the following four hours, the average power consumption is reduced to a 20% to correct the small temperature variations along the house. From that moment on, the average power consumption is reduced to a 14% of the nominal power. The result is that in 10 hours working time the electric consumption is approximately a 40% of the nominal power installed.
These calculations have been made using the recommended number of heaters for the room’s volume and climate area.
We must remember that a heating system’s efficiency depends on the quality of the isolation, in order to reduce the electric consumption.
